Terms of Adoption
1. In subscribing to this adoption scheme, there is no transfer of ownership or title. All animals and products arising from them remain the property of Mr & Mrs R & A Clifton-Holt.
2. The adoptive parent is entitled to two private visits during the twelve month adoption period.
a) Such visits must be pre-booked by telephone or email and confirmation received before attending.
b) Visits not taken will be forfeit.
c) Numbers attending each visit should not exceed 4 unless by special arrangement.
d)Because Haguelands Farm is a working farm, priority has to be given to seasonal pressures so we cannot guarantee that we will be able to accommodate any requested date but will endeavour at all times to do so.
e) During each visit, which will be supervised, the adoptive parent will be able to touch the alpaca but will not be able to feed it, groom it, remove it from it’s pen or attempt to ride it.
f) Adoptions are non-refundable. In the unfortunate event that an alpaca should die during the adoption year, an alternative animal will be offered.
